Next day we packed our bags and left the Grand Canyon behind. What other attractions could it offer? No bikes allowed – no fun. Thus we reached the Monument Valley. Famous for its unique landscape, it was featured in dozens of westerns. The charm of this place attracts many tourists, but not so many cyclists. Luckily, cycling is not prohibited in the area. The segregated bicycle path is not very long (only a 20 km loop), but anyway the temperature exceeding 40 degrees Centigrade is quite discouraging. One thing can surely be said about Monument Valley: it is an unusual place.
